PROTECTOR: Project for Reportability of Therapeutic Evaluations and Clinical Trials in Oncologic Research
Drs. Ludmir and Fuller will utilize natural-language processing (NLP) of clinical trials publications to augment and enrich records in ClinicalTrials.gov, affording the opportunity for large-scale analyses into patterns underlying trial success and accrual completion. Training and validation of NLP-based data extraction will be performed using previously-validated broad collections of cancer clinical trials.
